its 5 in the morning and i cant sleep. everywhere i look, i see the highlights, the score on the ticker, or some analysts talking about the game. i must have gotten 10 calls and 20 texts within an hour of the end of the game...and i didnt respond to any of them. i'm in my friends room, and i left my phone in my room cause it wouldnt stop ringing. i feel bad for my friend, cause he normally sleeps at 9:30 and wakes up at 5:30, but i kept him up til 4:30 cause i wouldn't leave his room. i cant remember the last time i was so pissed off, so emo, so sad, so angry, so sick to my stomache. but hey, it's the year of the upset right? every team that started the year in the top 10 lost. appalachian state (division 1-aa) beat michigan, @ michigan. stanford (worst team in the pac-10) beat usc, @ usc. and the list goes on. the #1 and #2 team lost on the same day (today) for the first time in 11 years. the thing that pisses me off is that we were so damn close. we played like crap yet we came back when it mattered and could/should have won in the end, if it wasn't for a bonehead, idiotic, stupid, retarded mistake by a freshman quarterback playing in his first college game. o, and we would have been #1 had we won. someone tell me that this loss isn't the end of the world. please.
